My Story

When your parents own a hobby shop it’s only a matter of time before you pick up a radio for the first time and fall in love with the hobby of model aviation. For me, that was right around 4 years old. Ever since then I have been building, flying, sometimes crashing, and rebuilding RC model planes. Sharing this hobby with my dad was the best way to spend the Wisconsin Summers after 6 months of Winter. And while the Winter’s are brutal here and don’t allow for too much flying, it gives us plenty of time to get some new planes built for the nicer months.

I started Hangar14 RC because I believe in sharing the passion for model aviation with others. My goal is to inspire and encourage other enthusiasts and newcomers to dive into the world of model aviation and what it has to offer. Whether you are a seasoned pilot or just starting out, I aim to provide a welcoming community where everyone can learn and grow together.
